It's a Girl!!!

Here's the reason we missed church today! Our other ewe had a girl this morning, but not very easily. There was just one this time, and she was very big, causing complications. The ewe was very jumpy and kept standing up, sitting down, straining, and trying to run off. So we had to put her in the pen. The lamb got stuck, and Rick had to help her come out! I had to hold the ewe, and Rick pulled the legs and head out! I think after all of this, Rick and I could be veterinarians!
She's very cute of course, and since there was just one, she's just as big as the triplets are! No wonder poor Mama had a hard time getting her out! We're calling her "Sunshine."
